SECTION 1 UMPIRING EXAM
All players and coaches are encouraged to sit the Section 1 Online Umpire Exam.
This exam is set by Netball Australia and you will need to be familiar with the Official Rules of Netball and review your knowledge using the purple U for Umpiring Exam Guide. These books are available from the Umpires’ Convenor
The exam consists of multiple choice questions and is an open-book exam, however to be able to complete the exam within the hour you will require a good knowledge of the rules.
The pass is 70% and you can attempt the exam as many times as you need. Once you have achieved the pass mark, your results are valid for 6 years.
