ON COURT DIFFICULTIES
From time to time, players may experience difficulties on the court. These could include behaviour that goes against the Code of Conduct by players, coaches, or umpires. If this occurs, please follow the guidelines below. Difficulties Procedure for all Seaforth Netball Club players and members.
If a player experiences any difficulties (physical or verbal) on the court the following procedure is to be adopted:
- The player reports the difficulties to her team coach/manager in the 1/4 break.
- The coach/manager then approaches both umpires to report the difficulties at the 1/4 interval.
If the difficulties continue:
- The coach/manager reports the difficulties to the Duty Official in the Manly Warringah Netball Association office at the top of the Clubhouse.
- The coach/manager documents the difficulties on the back of the score sheet, and
- The coach/manager notifies the Seaforth Netball Club president or secretary by email/letter of the grievance (so if it is needed, one of the committee can attend the next round of that particular team's game).
NOTE: Codes of Conduct can be found in the Manly Warringah Netball Association Fixture Book and also in your Team Book in the equipment bag.
